Golbazar Municipality, Nepal, May 29 - The Dalit Development Forum (DDF) in partnership with the Golbazar Municipality Education Unit launched an inclusive community project called "Inclusive Community Project for All." As part of this project, a school admission campaign for the year 2080 was organized with the aim of enrolling all children, including those with disabilities, into educational institutions.
Recognizing the importance of inclusive education and equal access to learning opportunities, the DDF and Golbazar Municipality Education Unit collaborated to facilitate the school admission campaign. Through coordinated efforts, the organizations engaged in various activities, including door-to-door programs, to reach out to families and promote the enrollment of all children in schools.
With a specific focus on children with disabilities, the campaign aimed to eliminate barriers to education and ensure their meaningful inclusion in the educational system. By raising awareness about the importance of education for children with disabilities and addressing concerns and misconceptions, the DDF and Golbazar Municipality Education Unit sought to create an inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
The school admission campaign received positive response and participation from the community, as families recognized the significance of education for the holistic development of their children. The collaboration between the DDF and Golbazar Municipality Education Unit served as a model for inclusive practices, promoting the rights of all children and reinforcing the commitment towards an equitable society that values education as a fundamental right for every child.
