History of DDF

Originally, all the members of the network were from Dalit Community. Now, over all 100% General members as well as executive committee members are from Dalit Community. DDF is women lead organization. Since the time of its establishment, Dalit Development Forum (DDF) Siraha has been working on the issue of Dalit issue, human trafficking, modern slavery and forced labour. 

DDF has strong coordination, collaboration and networking as well as alliance with government line agencies, elected representatives, civil society organizations, issues based movements, trade unions, sister organizations of various political parties, duty bearers and concerned stakeholders. The organizations thematic and cross-cutting interventions have been targeted to Madesi Dalits, women, poorest of the poor, disadvantaged communities, forced as well as migrant labors and adolescences.
